LAFD has reversed their long time position regarding online certification classes & has approved our program until further notice.. There are some restrictions in that participants must use a live video camera so that the instructor can confirm & solicit active participation throughout the duration of the class. If you do not provide for the video capability at the time of the class, you will not be able to attend so please test this capability ahead of time to avoid delays or last minute cancellation charges. HFSI will be hosting these class using "Zoom". You do not need to download the Zoom app to participate. You merely need to use the link that will be sent to all scheduled attendees. For those unfamiliar with using Zoom, here is a 90 sec You Tube tutorial. https://youtu.be/hIkCmbvAHQQ Upon completion of the online class, you will receive an electronic copy of your certification cards via email. You will need to print on regular white paper then laminate for durability. If you want a laminated hard copy card mailed to you, please add this $5 option to your purchase.
